At our adoption events, we meet the best pet parents in the world. They have companion animals in their families and care for them greatly. These wonderful people love to visit the cats in our care. They thank us for what we do. Occasionally, they ask what we need and go get it for us. Although they would love to take another pet in, they can't. They wish they could help give a home to one of our little charges, and think that the only way to do that is to adopt. It isn't.
